Breweries, diaries, and other manufacturers of drinks in beverage cartons must prioritize the ethical destruction of expired goods and faulty products to ensure they're resold. The RUNI screw compactor is the perfect solution for this. The machine handles both compacting and separation of your beverage waste in one process – creating two waste streams. The liquid is pressed through a suitable hole matrix and can go directly into the drain or collected and used for animal feed or energy production. The compacted beverage waste becomes dry, making it suitable for incineration or recycling. Recycling of beverage waste is increasing these years as recycling and circular economy is getting more and more important.
Beverage cartons are mainly produced with a protective layer (foil laminate or aluminum coating) on the inside - keeping the cartons dry and the liquid fresh. Thus, it usually takes more work to separate these different layers when recycling beverage waste. However, an increasing number of specialized recycling plants have a solution for recycling the carton and the protective layer seamlessly.
