LDPE Drums

Large 19-litre water drums made of polycarbonate and used for mineral water coolers and similar containers made of polycarbonate or LDPE are impractical to transport and dispose of due to their size and the large space they require.

Sell Compacted LDPE Drums to Recycling

The RUNI screw compactor is one of the few solutions developed for compacting large buckets and containers: It can handle a container up to 600mm diameter. When LDPE Drums are compacted, they become cost-effective to transport due to the optimal use of their transport space. Furthermore, compacted drums qualify to be sold as LDPE plastic recycling material.

With a screw compactor, you can achieve a continuous compacting process as opposed to the baling press, where both filling and emptying must be done manually. You can feed the containers and buckets you want to recycle into the RUNI screw compactor manually, via a conveyor belt or with a tilt container. The screw compactor is equipped with sensors for the automatic start and stop of the machine. When the screw and the hydraulic jaws compact the containers and buckets, they are pushed out and can fall into a separate container.
